Aéro Atelier C.M. inc. Warranty Agreement
1. Warranty Term and Transferability
- The warranty is valid for a period of 1 year, with no hourly limitation, starting from the invoice date or installation date (installation must occur no later than 30 calendar days after the invoice date).
- This warranty may be transferred from one owner to another during the maximum 1-year warranty period, subject to prior approval by AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC.
2. Conditions for Warranty Validity
- AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. reserves the right to refuse or cancel the warranty if damage is caused by an accident, misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, improper adjustment, improper repair or improper storage other than as prescribed by the manufacturer and/or AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC.
- Such cancellation may be made without notice or compensation.
3. Warranty Claim Procedure
- AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. must be informed of the problem as soon as possible.
- No part may be removed and no modification may be made before written authorization is received from AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC.
- Warranty work must be performed at AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC., 1281 Chemin de la Vigilance, Shawinigan, QC, G0X 1L0. If the work cannot be performed at our facility, prior written authorization is required before the work is performed elsewhere and/or by another person.
- A copy of the logbook and maintenance records must be provided for warranty evaluation.
- AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. reserves the right to establish a maximum repair amount based on good practices used by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
- Transportation costs are subject to prior approval.
- Removal and installation labour costs are not covered by the warranty.
4. Limitation of Liability
- AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. disclaims liability for consequences arising from the problem covered by the warranty.
- No damages or other compensation may be charged to or demanded from AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. other than replacement or repair of the affected part.
- AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace the part with a new, rebuilt, overhauled or serviceable part, or to repair the part in its shop.
5. Conditions of Use
- The warranty is conditional on normal wear limits and proper use in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer and/or AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC.
6. Parts Availability
- Availability of manufacturer-supplied parts may affect processing time. AÉRO ATELIER C.M. INC. cannot be held responsible for costs incurred because of delays related to incoming parts, transportation or staffing shortages.
7. Warranty Term for Replaced Parts
- Any warranty service provided during the 1-year period does not extend the warranty on replaced and/or repaired parts beyond the prescribed period calculated from the original invoice date.
8. Implied Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
- By proceeding with performance of the agreement and accepting delivery of the engine, the BUYER acknowledges and implicitly accepts all terms and conditions stated in this warranty agreement.
