Advanced technology and precision
Our precision honing and boring equipment provides a clean internal finish and proper cylinder-barrel roundness while respecting the taper choke profile required by the manufacturer.
Valve seats are carefully ground, and the valves are fitted and lapped for proper contact.
Each cylinder undergoes a series of pneumatic and hydraulic tests to verify sealing and performance in service. We also pay particular attention to spring tension and height to help maximize cylinder life and performance.
Complete reconditioning procedure
Each cylinder undergoes a detailed inspection that includes:
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect cracks or anomalies,
- Replacement of components that do not meet overhaul tolerances,
- Lapping and fitting of valves and seats,
- Installation of new piston rings fitted to the reconditioned barrel,
- Final paint and protection,
- A complete gasket set for reinstallation.
The overhauled cylinder is delivered ready for installation, with the piston, rings and valves installed and a new gasket set, supporting a quick and straightforward return to service.
