Excellence and Expertise

Guy-Paul left behind a strong legacy, built on expertise, thoroughness, and the sharing of knowledge.

Today, we are proud and enthusiastic to see this legacy carried on. The torch has been brilliantly taken up by his son, Manuel Mongrain, who now leads Aero Atelier.

Aero Atelier: Excellence and Know-How in Piston Engines

At Aéro Atelier, our passion for precision aviation mechanics has driven us for decades. Recognized as a leading specialized workshop in Canada for the overhaul and repair of Lycoming and Continental piston engines, we are proud to offer our expertise to the aviation community. This expertise is also regularly shared through our collaborations with the French publication Magazine Aviation, a key platform for discussing technical challenges and best practices in our industry.

A Legacy of Excellence, an Assured Future

The history of Aero Atelier is closely tied to the vision and dedication of its founder, Guy-Paul Mongrain. His passion for aviation and his insistence on quality forged the identity and reputation of our company. It was with deep gratitude for his immense contribution that we marked his departure a year ago. Guy-Paul left behind a solid legacy, based on know-how, rigor, and the sharing of knowledge.

Today, we are proud and enthusiastic to see this legacy carried on. The torch has been brilliantly taken up by his son, Manuel Mongrain, who now leads Aero Atelier. Manuel embodies continuity, combining the core values instilled by his father with a modern vision, thus ensuring that Aéro Atelier remains at the cutting edge of technology and industry standards.

Certified Expertise and the Sharing of Knowledge

Our team, largely trained in-house according to the apprenticeship principles valued by our founder, specializes in overhaul and maintenance that bring your engines back to life, returning their TBO (Time Between Overhauls) to zero. As an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certified by Transport Canada, we guarantee work of the highest quality, compliant with the strictest international standards.

Our articles and contributions in Magazine Aviation reflect this commitment to excellence and sharing. They allow us to highlight specific technical aspects, innovations, and recommendations drawn from our daily experience, consolidating our role as a key resource for owners and operators of piston-engine aircraft.
