Aero Atelier supports the “Give Hope Wings” 2026 expedition by Hope Air
Aviation is much more than a matter of mechanics and performance; it is an essential tool that connects people to essential services. That is why we are proud to support the expedition Give Hope Wings 2026, a meaningful initiative that celebrates the organization’s 40th anniversary Hope Air.
A vital mission: From coast to care
For four decades, Hope Air has ensured that Canadians, no matter where they live, can access the healthcare they need. The organization’s origin is striking: it all began by witnessing patients from Newfoundland endure 24 hours of bus travel to receive cancer treatment in Toronto.
Today, thanks to volunteer pilots and donors, that distance is covered by air, reducing stress and fatigue for families like that of young Amir, age 4, who has already benefited from 10 flights to treat eye cancer.
The 2026 expedition: A stop in Quebec
This year’s expedition will cross Eastern Canada, connecting aviation communities from Halifax to Sudbury, with stops in St. John’s and Goose Bay.
We are particularly moved by this cause, as one of our valued clients, Ed Johnston — a seasoned aviator and member of Hope Air’s board of directors — will co-lead the expedition. The convoy will also make a stop in Trois-Rivières (CYTR) on its return from the East Coast this coming August.
It’s an honour to co-lead Give Hope Wings 2026, where pilots come together, flying at their own expense and on their own time, to give hope wings. Our expedition to St. John’s aims to rally communities across the country and raise $500,000 to make a real difference in people’s lives.
