In the spring of 2020, an inspection found excessive metal in the oil filter of my Cessna 185. The engine was immediately sent to Aero Atelier for a complete diagnosis. Their team identified a shifted main bearing that had compromised lubrication and damaged the crankcase. I asked them for a complete overhaul incorporating my recently installed Millennium cylinders. Despite the COVID-19 lockdown, Aero Atelier was highly accommodating and delivered the overhauled engine by July 20, 2020. I greatly appreciated such timely service under difficult circumstances.
